Melissa and Jim

Hi Everyone!

Hope everyone is recouping well from Thanksgiving. I just wanted to post Melissa and Jim's wedding. It seems for some reason the pictures will be out of order, I don't know how to fix it! I can't wait until Blogger is working again!

Anyways, Melissa and Jim decided to have a nice fall wedding, except for the fact that it was around 90 outside. The weather was crazy!

Anyways, we were able to take our pictures at a golf course, thanks to her brother for arranging it!

Mandi and Matt

Here is an engagement session I did in the city with Mandi and Matt. Mandi was actually referred to me by a friend(that story to come later!), and at the time I had just met with another bride for her wedding date. Mandi had seen some engagement slideshows I had done, and some things on my website and blog, and booked me over the phone. I'm so glad everything worked out and I am shooting your wedding guys!

We had scheduled their session just a few weeks before, but I didn't realize there was a Bears game that same day, which makes for CRAZY traffic in the city. Plus, it just so happened to rain on and off that entire day. So it was a good idea that we rescheduled.

Mandi and Matt live literally 6 blocks or so from Wrigley, and Mandi's entire family are hardcore Cubs fans. So you'll see one of the shots in the slideshow, they own a brick in the pavement that surrounds Wrigley. That's so awesome!

Alicia and Gregg

Okay, the blog is still down for uploading. I'm trying this new way as a temporary fix. I guess this is what you get for using a free service. I can't complain, right? I just wanted to get some pictures on my blog, so please bare with me until I find a better solution.

Anyways, back to my bride and groom. This is Alicia and Gregg. The had their reception at a great place, Mill Creek Golf Course. We arrived at the church to start with the ladies, and the guys arrived soon after. This is the first time that I was done with the guys and girls, and family pictures all done before the ceremony started, and still had some time to spare. We were on track all day, which was great!

However, the strangest thing happened. Their limo left! We were done with the ceremony, and when Alicia and Gregg got outside, it was gone! They tried calling, and couldn't find the driver. We later found out that he had some car trouble, but Alicia and Gregg weren't buying it. So, since I drive a Durango, I gave them a lift to the reception! We decided on our trip to the reception that I am going to start offering a photography/limo service for all my clients! :)

Other than that, everything went great, and everyone had a blast at their reception. Thanks guys for letting me capture it all!

Blog is down-for pictures

Well, I'm finding out Blogger, who I use for my blog, is having problems uploading pictures. They have been saying it might not be fixed until the middle of November. I tried using photobucket, but apparently that's not working either. So if any of you photographers out there have any ideas how I can get pictures on my blog, I'm all ears!

Sorry to everyone who is waiting for their pictures....this is completely out of my control!

Hopefully, I'll have some items to post soon!

Okay, I hope this works. Apparently blogger is having problems uploading, so I'm trying a different way. Bare with me if it looks awkward.

This is just some pictures from Krissy and Drake's wedding. We actually ran out of time and weren't able to get to an outside location. Everyone seemed to have a great time and the happy couple couldn't have had bigger smiles!

Deanna and Chris' E-Session

Hi everyone,

This is one of many posts to come. I've been having a bit of a problem uploading, so sorry!
This is Deanna and Chris, and their wedding is coming up right around the corner- December 1st! We met at the Morton Arboretum in Lisle for their e-session. I haven't been there in such a long time. I just recently heard that to use their facility for wedding pictures, you have to pay a $100 permit fee. That's crazy! Apparently, you have to pay that also if you want to take engagement pictures...which I didn't know. Oops! Deanna and Chris got there first, and someone who worked there asked for their name, and when they checked, they told them they weren't on the list of people permitted to get pictures done there. So we had to do a bit of sneaking around! :) Hope you like them!
