Jill and Jason
Hi Everyone!
Another post, another beautiful wedding. This is Jill and Jason. Their story on how they met is right out of a story book. Well, they were both at a church bonfire at school (U of I) when Jill overheard Jason talking about how the chips he was eating tasted like Sterzings. Sterzings chips are made in Burlington, Iowa, where Jill's grandmother lives. So she was quite surprised to hear someone mention these chips! So when she turned around, there was Jason, and she asked how he knew about the chips. He also had a grandma that lived there! What a small world. And as they say, the rest is history!
So when Sterzings heard about how they met, they sent them a little gift...plenty of chips for their guests! (I was able to sneak a bag or two to take home...they were yummy!) Here is a shot they're sending to Sterzings as a thank you!

These are some other shots from the day. Okay, so the ladies had these fabulous Tiffany color dresses...who doesn't like Tiffany's! This actually has turned out
to be one of my favorite dress shots so far this year.

Here is a detailed shot of her dress that she found at Here Comes the Bride. It was like it was made just for Jill!

Here is a shot of dad's speech...no one leaves without their shoes, perfect place for it!

Jill looked stunning, love this shot!

Love the cake!

This is one of my all time favorite shots. My clients get to know what I like after their engagement session, and I always look for brick, doors, and any pops of colors. This shot has a little bit of everything!

So what you don't know is that as soon as I drove up to meet Jill that day, it started to rain. It rained on and off all day. During dinner we had a little bit of a clearing so we ran outside to grab as many shots as we could before the sun went down. We were in Geneva at Riverside Receptions right on the river, so we found some great places to get shots. Thanks guys for being such great troopers!
