Bellissima Chitchat

My Photo
Name: Priscilla
Location: Chicago, IL

My name is Priscilla O'Sullivan, and I'm the owner of Bellissima Photography. Recently married in 2003, I decided to pursue my first love, (before my husband :) and Bellissima was born! I chose the name because it means "beautiful" in Italian. What a perfect description for those moments that mean the most. I am married to an amazing guy who is constantly reminding me of how great I am, and I have a 3 year old daughter Kailee, and just expanded our family with the addition of our son, Rylan. That's the basic scoop on me. Keep checking the posts to find out more!

Stacie and Mark's E-session

Hi Everyone!

I have just successfully transferred my website to a new server! I've been a little nervous about this, but it is finally complete! I am in the process of checking email links and inquiry links, so there may be some hiccups, so thank you for being patient during this transition.

Mark and Stacie have been extra patient during this...but here is the slideshow FINALLY!!! It took some time figuring out where to put it in the new directory, but I finally figured everything out!

I had back to back sessions at Navy Pier. So I always try to make each of my couples
sessions different. So, when I was talking with Stacie and Mark, I found out they have a very different taste in music. So I went with an oldie. Who doesn't like this song? I guess you'll have to watch the slideshow to find out! :)

Til next time!

Jessica and Matt

Playing catch up...meet Jessica and Matt. I immediately hit it off with both of them. When I first sat down to talk with them, I found out that Matt is a Bradley alum as well! It was great to hear what they've done to the campus since I've left. GO BRAVES!

We did their engagement shoot at Navy Pier. And it was a tad bit crowed, so when we came across this incredible sail boat, I asked the owner if they wouldn't mind that we came aboard to get some shots...and he said yes! Here are a few of my favs from the boat, but check out the slideshow!

I want to thank Bruce at Lakeshore Sail Charters in Chicago for letting us aboard mate! (Okay, you didn't think I was going to pass up a cheesy line like that did ya?)

Stay tuned for some more coming your way real soon!

Mandi and Matt

Hi Everyone!

I've been a total slacker in my blogging. I know. But in the next 2 or so weeks you will see a ton of posts go up, so I am making up for it. Summer has officially hit, and boy has it been busy. So everything has taken a little longer than normal. So thanks everyone for being so patient.

This is Mandi and Matt. I absolutely love them. Their wedding was awesome. It was at the Eagle Brook Country Club in Geneva. The day started out pouring rain. Well, that's not actually true. I am convinced that I am bringing rain with me wherever I go! I got to the hair salon to get some pictures, and no sooner did I get out of my car did it start raining! It has happened to every one of my sessions this year except for one. So, I've decided to do an anti rain dance now before every session. Hopefully that will help! :)

So here's how we started the day!

Luckily where Mandi was getting ready there was a porch!

Mandi looked radiant in this dress.

And Matt you didn't look to shabby yourself!

It was freezing out by the Fox River, but you wouldn't even be able to tell, these
two were preoccupied with eachother!

Thanks guys for letting me be a part of your day! I had a great time!

My little big girl?

Hello!

Yesterday, I got my haircut. My hairdresser Chloe was asking about Kailee and I started telling her all the things Kailee is saying now. And she looked at me in disbelief. And it wasn't until she said it, did I really start thinking about it. She said, "I can't believe she's only been on this earth for 2 years and she's such a little person." Kailee repeats EVERYTHING right now, and she understand it all! She's so thoughtful, that if I help her with something, she'll say thanks mommy. When James leaves for work in the morning, and we're leaving at the same time, she'll say, "No Daddy, you go in mommy's car" because she knows if he goes in his car, she won't see him. We are potty training her right now, and if you ask her if she needs to use the potty, she'll say "no, not yet," and if you check her diaper, she'll say, "no mommy, there's nothing there!" She has been into princesses since she was 16 months old! Yes, I know, I'm in big trouble.

I am just amazed that she's growing up so fast. I purposely wouldn't put her hair in pigtails because I knew the day that I could, she was a lot older than I wanted her to be. So I just refused to do her hair like that for a while. But unfortunately you can't stop them from growing up, believe me I've tried! :) So I just wanted to share with some pictures of my big girl, or little girl....well, you decide.

This one we went to a princess tea party with some other little ladies, I couldn't resist!
